Sometimes living with a toddler is great, and sometimes it means they spill some kind of mystery liquid all over your computer and you have to go drop a bunch of cash at the Apple store. It’s been a week, folks!
Luckily for me, I knew my computer was nearing its end anyways so I had some money set aside for a replacement. I’ve taken a bit of a risk and replaced my old sad laptop with a state-of-the-art tablet. It means a bit of an adjustment from a laptop/desktop to a “mobile” device but so far it‘s a hoot! I’m hoping to get back into illustrating since it’s much easier to sketch on the tablet for a few minutes than it is to bust out the traditional media. Oh and don’t worry, I sprung for apple care in case the toddler strikes again haha
I had a few digital patterns I was working on and those patterns are lost now so I will have to start them over before they are ready for release. I’m excited about it and will probably release them on ok-fi, but obviously when I make the final decision I will shout it from the rooftops.
Today I’m going shopping and hopefully grabbing some cool fabric for my yule priestess robe! I’m excited to see what the fabric store has for me. More to come!
